From Opening Ceremony

After Superstorm Sandy ravaged the East Coast last week, OC is back up and running thankfully unscathed. But not everyone was so lucky. OC ANNUAL contributor POPPY DE VILLENEUVE didn’t hear from her friend Michelle, a resident of New York’s Rockaway Beach, until three days after the storm had hit. Armed with a camera, she and Alex Braverman traveled to the neighborhood to document the damage in this moving short film. To help the Rockaway community, visitINTEROCCUPY.NET/OCCUPYSANDY/ROCKAWAYS and ROCKAWAYHELP.COM. Read up on more ways you can make a difference HERE
